About Emily Knoppe

Emily is not your typical real estate agent. A Worthington native with deep Ohio roots, she brings a designer’s eye and a strategic sales mindset to every transaction. Born in Lake Forest, Illinois—a suburb of Chicago—Emily later moved to Columbus, graduating from Thomas Worthington High School and on to The Ohio State University with a degree in Interior Design.

 

After several years in the design industry, Emily realized she wasn’t meant for a desk job. She shifted her career toward real estate sales, initially working on condo conversions where she seamlessly combined design expertise with sales acumen. In 2008, she earned her real estate license, determined to help clients see the full potential of every home, from its “good bones” to its future possibilities.

 

Emily’s diverse experience spans selling estate lots for custom new builds in Delaware, Ohio, to advising investors throughout Central Ohio on single- and multi-family properties. Whether working with first-time investors or seasoned buyers expanding their portfolios, Emily’s deep knowledge of construction, land, and architectural space planning gives her clients a competitive edge. Her ability to envision remodeling potential and position properties for maximum market appeal sets her apart.

 

Emily also enjoys working with a wide range of clients—from first-time home buyers just starting their journey, to growing families looking for larger homes, to sellers ready to downsize after becoming empty nesters. She’ll be the first to tell you she doesn’t claim to have a single “niche” in real estate—only a genuine passion for helping people buy and sell while finding the perfect fit for their future. Known for her sense of humor and highly competitive personality, Emily promises to make the process as fun and stress-free as possible, whether you’re ready to move today or planning years down the road.

 

Today, Emily lives in Worthington with her husband and their son, having chosen to return to her hometown to be close to her parents in Riverlea. She’s passionate about helping buyers and sellers in Central Ohio make smart, informed decisions, always bringing her design background, local insight, and commitment to exceptional service to every client relationship.
